I was enjoying a stroll along the Willamette River in North Portland, testing out my recently acquired Hasselblad 500 C/M camera. As I walked toward the Burlington Northern Railroad Bridge 5.1, I noticed a flock of geese had congregated on an exposed sandbar. Making sure I had the camera settings correct, I slowly approached the geese. As I neared, they took to the sky, and I was able to capture one of my favorite images from last year. Image was made on Neopan Acros film. The brightness on the left frame edge is due to a light leak in the camera back.
