Category: Spontaneous Moments

Photo and caption by Judith Tschirgi

On Inle Lake in Myanmar, the classic mode of transportation is via dugout canoe. The ancient mode of paddling is using one leg to stand and one leg to guide the paddle as demonstrated ably by this young boy through one of the many villages of houses built on stilts.

Location: Inle Lake, Shan State, Myanmar
