This male grey nurse shark, scanning a school of fish; looking for its next meal, is one of only 300 thought to be left in the wild. This beautiful animal is typically only found in two places off the coast of Eastern Australia and is currently protected; but with minimum oversight. It was a major milestone for my wife and I, as divers and shark lovers, to see these sharks in the wild before they fade to black and vanish forever.
