Goldfish with rainbows

Category: Spontaneous Moments

Photo and caption by Daniel Creech

In the Zeniari Benzaiten shrine in the hills above Kamakura, two goldfish swim circles in a bowl fed by a small rivulet. Sunlight refracts through the droplets as they splash into the bowl, causing an explosion of minute rainbows; the fish pass serenely underneath.

Location: Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan
