The stunning beauty of Agalychnis callidryas may be one of the most iconic images affiliated with neotropical rain forests. However, the onset of chytrid fungus has decimated frog numbers in the Americas and we may very well be the last generation to see these magnificent creatures in the wild. I know for a group of biology students, it was a rare treat that we will never forget.
