Groningen At Dusk

Category: Sense of Place

Photo and caption by Stephan Weckerle

This is a single exposure from an HDR-range. The Wind, which even moved the ships, was a constant obstacle and it was difficult to avoid ghosty effects. Nevertheless the light was beautiful and gave me a good feeling when I've setup the tripod. My aim was to create a picture which would fit on my kitchen wall to remind me of the friendly atmosphere. I've shot it while traveling along the coast in March and its one of my favourite views of dutch cities!

Location: Groningen, The Netherlands
