Category: Sense of Place

Photo and caption by Vivian Acosta

Granada, Spain has a large population of gypsies that live in caves in the side of the mountain. A group of gypsies use one of these caves as a venue for Gypsie Flamenco (Flamenco Gitano) shows. They all sing, play Spanish guitar, and passionately dance as they tell a story. In this part of the show the bride is dancing as she just got married.

Location: Granada, Spain
