Trekking through the Amazon jungle at night time can be a beautiful yet scary experience. Your headlamp provides just enough light to reflect off the hundreds of eyes watching you walk through their territory, when suddenly your eye is caught by an unusual den that said Tarantula calls home. As you step closer to illuminate the log his home rests upon, you notice that the welcome mat has been extended and the host is outside to welcome you to his home.

Location: Puerto Maldonado, Peru. Posadas Amazonas Lodge
