The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is a conservation area and a UNESCO World Heritage Site located 180 km (110 mi) west of Arusha in the Crater Highlands area of Tanzania. Ngorongoro Crater is a large volcanic caldera with a unique population of animals. The Maasai are an ethnic group of semi-nomadic people located in Kenya and northern Tanzania.
