Masai Man

Category: Travel Portraits

Photo and caption by Peter Weissman

Our visit to a small Masai village outside the Olidvai Gorge in Tanzania was interesting for many reasons. None the least of which was the smell of burning cow dung, the harsh and raw nature of the surroundings, the multiple wives of the 74 year old chief and the dung beetles rolling their eggs. This capture of a happy occupant made me return the elder's smile.

Location: Tanzania, Africa
