The mouth of the Moore

Category: Outdoor Scenes

Photo and caption by Katherine Shearer

Kayaking in Western Australia on the coast of the Indian Ocean. A small town called Guilderton is where the Moore River begins. The river mouth is beyond the dune and the dune breaks at high tide to feeding the river. Total solitude and pure nature are found here. One side of the river was sand dunes and the other a forest.

Location: Western Australia, the coast of Guilderton on the Moore River
