The best place to read in the world

Category: Sense of Place

Photo and caption by Ding Yuan Chen

I am an exchange student in Norway from Taiwan. After the frozen winter, I need more sunshine. I found a best place to read books and enjoy the natural sound and light. Amazingly, the time when I took this photo was around 23:00, because of the mid-night sun. Why did I say that this is "the best place to read in the world"? First, I can enjoy the sunshine from 04:00 to 24:00. Second, I can sleep on the ground with the odor of grass. Third, I have the best view in front of my desk! Last but not least, natural environment is also a best book for us to read!

Location: Trondheim, Norway
