Quebrada de Jaspe
Category: Sense of Place
Photo and caption by Dino Conciatore
The name of this stream comes form this "Jaspe" (in local language) rock, is a semi-precious stone, which is actually a composite of quartz and silica, with very strong red. Perfect the moment, nobody was there just me and this incredible waterfall! The stream is one of the "natural monuments" of Venezuela.
Location: Near to Santa Elena de Uairén, Venezuela, at the kilometer 273
