Hon Khoi Salt Field Worker

Category: Outdoor Scenes

Photo and caption by Corey Wright

The Hon Khoi Salt Fields are around 45 minutes drive from Nha Trang, and between January and June, workers toil from 4am to around 9am carrying salt from shallow pits and piling it up for the trucks which then distribute it all over the country. The baskets can weigh over 10kgs each, and it's the women that do the heavy work. I arranged a trip there early one morning to capture their amazing work.

Location: Khanh Hoa, Vietnam
