Photo and caption by Harsh Wardhan

The main attraction is color....both water & powder(Gulal), music & songs in the local dialect are very interesting & the dancing are uninhibited & full of energy. These festivities usually start a week ahead of the actual Holi day. In Vrindavan they shower flower petals on each other. Celebrations continue for about 10 days

Location: Nandgaon, Mathura Near Delhi India
