The view from this idyllic ranch was awe-inspiring. But then a thought gripped me. I was staring down a 14,000 ft. active volcano with 600 year eruption cycles, potentially packed with more pyroclastic fury than Mt. St Helens. "Don't worry" my wife said. "We still have time for dinner. The last time it blew was 1786. That gives us about 400 years."
