We came up on a pod of hippopotamus on the Chobe River near Kasane just before sunset. The lighting was beautiful and I was crossing my fingers that one of them would open wide. I didn't take my eye off of the pod for what seemed forever and my arms were getting very tired holding the camera and suddenly the mouth came open and I got the shot!
