Lone fisherman. Stormy day. Hong Kong.

Category: Spontaneous Moments

Photo and caption by Jessica Eaton

This photo was taken along a pedestrian unfriendly stretch of waterfront in Hong Kong's Kennedy Town. As I walked past rolled down metal doors & auto repair shops, a flash of orange caught my eye. I crossed the road, climbed over the guardrail and snapped a few shots of a lone fisherman sitting on the end of the pier waiting patiently for a bite. As I turned to leave he stood up to re-throw his line. I took this shot just as a perfectly timed wave crashed up against the sea wall.

Location: Unnamed Pier - Kennedy Town, Hong Kong
