Widely regarded as the most impressive building of the Roman Empire, the Colosseum needs little description. However, this ordered beauty which once stood for murderous encounters today stands for life and is an important symbol in the campaign against capital punishment. Also little know is that this Roman Colosseum is one of the seven wonders of the modern world along with the Taj Mahal, Great Wall of China and others.
