burning palms

Category: Outdoor Scenes

Photo and caption by max blackmore

this is a shot taken on an old pentax SLR of a walking track in the royal national park in NSW, on the way to a secluded beach in an old shanty town called burning palms. The houses were built in the 1920's when people couldn't afford living costs in Sydney and Woolongong, and people still live there.

Location: Burning Palms, Royal National Park, NSW Australia
