farewell to sun

Category: Sense of Place

Photo and caption by Anna Gibiskys

This photo was taken in the Sahara desert in Libya. On the third day, I finally and irreversibly fall in love with this great desert! A huge amount of sand all hues from light yellow to dark brown. Beige, yellow, cream, orange, pink, gold, amber, peach and copper color! Desert as if woven from soft hot tissue. Foe me the desert is no longer emptyтness! The desert is full of meaning and silence! There is so quiet that you can hear the signals of neurons in the body ;)

Location: Sahara Desert in Libya. North Africa.
