Roseate Spoonbills Feeding at High Tide, Everglades National Park

Category: Outdoor Scenes

Photo and caption by Debbie Scheuer

This flock of Roseate Spoonbills was feeding at Snake Bight in Florida Everglade National Park at high tide. The hike to get there was hot and mosquito infested; we saw no other people the entire time. At the end of the hike there is a boardwalk. When we rounded the corner we were greeted with the scene in the picture.

Location: USA, Florida Everglades National Park, Snake Bight portion of Florida Bay
