Ospreys are common throughout the coast and cayes of Belize. Many times they nest on man made structures that have low human traffic. In this case this Osprey was nesting on the thatch roof of a palapa at the end of a dock. Every morning it left the nest to hunt but would make frequent flybys and hovers to check on offspring.
Location: Glovers Reef Atoll, Belize.
