I was coming home just before midnight & I could detect the sky flickering away and knew immediately we had an Aurora Borealis event on hand. I grabbed my equipment & went to a local park with not a lot of light overflowing in to the sky, and proceeded to take in this rare spectacular event. The trees are red from absorbing street lights off in the distance during the long exposure
