Roosting Rooster, In Tree

Wild roosters and chickens abound in New Orleans since post-Katrina, when domesticated fowl flew the coop from backyard pens. The local SPCA chapter dispenses officers to keep this wild population in check, but there's plenty of cock-a-doodle dooing at LaFreniere Park. This was the first time I'd ever seen in a rooster in a tree. Apparently, without a coop, they like to roost in a tree or on a roof.
