Every turn you take in Phoenix Ancient Town is a picturesque moment, with views similar to those portrayed in traditional Chinese paintings. Dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties, the quaint doorways, mysterious alleys, tiled roofs, stone slab walls and houses on stilts all combine to transport the viewer back into historic times and provide an actual experience of how villages in olden China looked like.
