Sri Pada (or Adam’s Peak), Sri Lankan sacred mountain that according to the lore bears the last footprint of the Buddha, casts its conical shadow on the mists rising from the valleys below at sunrise. The sight communicates a deep sense of mysticism and spirituality especially after the overnight climb of the five thousands steps to the top.
