Category: Spontaneous Moments

Photo and caption by Jennifer West

This child monk was extremely joyful to see Krabi's famous Khao Khanab-Nam that he could not help but skip with delight and make a heart with his hands over his head. His giant toothy smile shows pure love and happiness. He is inside Khao Khanab-Nam, which is one of Krabi's most recognizable landmarks. According to local legend, the hole in the mountain was made by a giant's egg. The little monk is visiting the landmark as part of a school field trip. He is twelve years old, and from a prestigious local temple, Wat Kaew, Krabi, Thailand.

Location: Khao Khanab-Nam, Krabi, Thailand
