The straw is delivered to the village's beachfront by oxen cart just as the local fishermen return from a night 's fishing. The days catch is sorted then dried on nets and straw. The local villagers produces large quantities of dried fish which sustain their community providing employment, protein and income. Many villagers are involved in this process and most had a role to play. This photo illustrates this sense of shared goal and a strong sense of community.
