The provinces of Northern Thailand are home to several groups of hill tribe people who are ostracised by the Thai government. Here, a carefree Lahu child plays with a Chinese yoyo called a daibolo. Thailand is called the Land of a Thousand Smiles and nothing captures this better than the joyous smile of a young child.
