Category: Sense of Place
Photo and caption by Andrzej Rutkowski
The photo was taken on Spring 2013, while I was travelling around Ireland. While taking a road to Ballycastle (Nothern Ireland) I was amazed by the open spaces, with no people around, just nature and mostly sheeps chewing the grass slowly. And then suddenly, I saw this horse on the open field in the middle of nowhere. From my perspective, the photo shows lot from the spirit of Ireland, its beauty, openness, a bit of melancholy and freedom.
Location: Whitepark Rd, Antrim county, Nothern Ireland
