3 seconds of life merging with eternal nature

Category: Outdoor Scenes

The picture was taken at a breathtaking natural place in the island of São Miguel in Azores, the 28th of June, during the training sessions of a Cliff Diving event. The divers jump from 27 meters height and land in the water 3 seconds afterwards, having a speed of 85 km/h. Amazing is what the divers think before they jump and all they think in those 3 seconds that can be their last seconds of life. Feeling like they fly and having such an impressive natural landscape, and merging with the ocean when they land, being for 3 seconds, part of the landscape of this always existing amazing nature.

Location: Ilheu Vila Franca do Campo, São Miguel, Azores, Portugal
