The survival of these endangered parrots depend on this tree (Dipteryx panamensis) that provides them possibilities for nesting and a primary source of food. Observing these wild parrots was the main purpose of my trip to Costa Rica, but I did not believe in the possibility to get so close, and I very appreciate this exceptional moment.
