London Lion

Category: Spontaneous Moments

Photo and caption by B Woodward

My daughter and I were walking from Golden Square toward the Thames early one Sunday morning when I saw the lion. He did not seem pleased with the banana peel that someone had dropped on his head. But he looked as had been patiently guarding this doorway for a very long time. He had seen worse. And he had survived.

Location: PIccadilly, London, England
