a crazy photographer risked his life to take the picture of Lava flows meeting the Pacific Ocean. He was on very fragile rocks where there is lava flowing underneath and the waves hits the lava and there is a chance that the lave will hit him. The white 'steam' is actually highly-toxic sulfuric acid fumes. The temperature is highly next to the molten lava and that's why he removed his cloths. he survived.
