A portrait of a Native American dancer at a pow wow. The Native American community gathers at pow wows to honor their long history and rich culture. The events feature different styles of dance set to drumming and singing, and convey the honor, tradition and respect that exists in their culture. This photo was taken during a "Fancy Shawl" (women's) dance.
