It is not hard to imagine why Baba Budan Giri chose this location to plant the first coffee from Yemen in India. High altitude, rich soil, heavy rains and cool weather combine offer one of the best coffee which is now exported all over the world. These mountain ranges of western ghats are older than himalayan ranges and also counted under UNESCO world heritage list.
