Pinky Little Nuns
Category: Travel Portraits
Photo and caption by Hsiang Hsu
It was a Saturday evening, three little Buddhist nuns were taking a rest on the roadside. They left the temple in the early morning and begged for alms all the way through the city of Mandalay. I don't speak Burmese, so I tried to make them know that I wanted to take a photo of them. They got it from my gesture. And they smiled. That's one of the most beautiful smiles I've ever seen. They were so young and so little, and all the thing they have in their hands were so few. But they were so happy and fulfilled with their life. We should be more satisfied with what we have now, shouldn't we?
