Ancestral Meditation

Category: Sense of Place

Photo and caption by Manuel Vivanco

Nobody knows exactly how did they build it, and for what kind of use. Even the name - Machu Picchu - is not the original one. Located in the heart of the Andes Range, the sanctuary, as mystical as the mountains that are surrounding it, was "cientificaly discovered" just 100 years ago. But the mysteries remind in every window you look at. Don´t try to know, just try to feel it.

Location: Machu Picchu - Cuzco - Perú.
