Chili Bear

Category: Outdoor Scenes

Photo and caption by MJ Hudgens

As we cooked Chili and watched one of the Whitetail Deer, I noticed it looking over the old moss covered rock wall. I followed it's stare to find something black prowling under the trees. I ran to get my camera. When I came back I thought I missed the shot, so I went outside. Around the house and down the driveway there it was! Must have loved the scent of Lori's Chili! As soon as I had the bear in focus it turned and looked right at me! A once in a lifetime shot! These bears are afraid of people. The sound of my "click" and it was off running! I had a Beautiful photo! Thank You Chili Bear! MJ
