Category: Sense of Place

This photo was captured at Lake Pukaki in the Mount Cook region of New Zealand's South Island. As the morning clouds began to rise off of the surrounding mountains, I took a moment to apprehend my isolation. However, upon finding this scarf tied as a marker, I felt wildly connected to my surrounding enviornment with the sense that someone had also once reveled in the beauty here.
