Beehive huts on the west coast of Ireland provide a much-needed source of income for some residents of this rugged, rocky 'Gaeltacht' (Irish speaking) area. Archaeologists are still investigating the centuries-old history of the circular stone buildings shaped like beehives (not pictured) that were once lived in by Kerry monks.
