The Secret Cove

This spot is hidden from the beachfront. One would have to go to the end of the mile-long beach and then walk out into the waters by at least 60 ft. (Behind me is a cave with a 20-ft opening, and goes about 100ft deep. My layman's guess is that this was a lava tube a long time ago.) My friend (you could see him in the horizon, if you look close enough), encouraged me to wade waist deep into the surf. Timing was critical, because a big wave could wash away the camera bag on my head, or worse, knock me completely off my feet.
