A Divine Opening of the Clouds

Driving into the Genting Highlands of Malaysia where it is usually bright and sunny in late January, it was cold and cloudy, but the clouds were like nothing I've ever seen. Later, it was a risk to hire a private taxi for 80 ringgit to escort me anywhere I wanted to go. I wasn't sure where the odds would take me, but as soon as we came upon this serene Buddhist temple on the mountainside, I knew this was it. The last thing I expected, at the ebb of sunset, the clouds would part for us and drape so wondrously across the land. My native friends and I were overcome by the rarity of the moment.
