An Apsara is a female spirit of the clouds and waters in ancient Hindu and Buddhists beliefs. The Apsara dance is a traditional Khmer dance dating back over a 1000 years in Cambodia. It shows the true essence and beauty of the female spirit, portrayed through dancing.
