Group of children on Mabul island

Category: Travel Portraits

Mabul island is well known for being a beautiful diving site in Asia. But the island remains, before any hotel, the place of its people. I don't think that a lot of tourists that have come here took the time to walk around the island to discover this true and hidden Mabul. As I was admiring the richness of their culture, they were also intrigued by my own presence : looks crossed and smiles were able to be exchanged.

Location: Native village on Mabul island, Malaysia (Borneo)
