P'Town Christmas

Category: Sense of Place

Sometimes, the most captivating shots seem to take themselves. While walking in Provincetown with my daughter, we bought matching earrings at a gorgeous little shop, opposite the charming town library. They featured delicately gilded, hand-blown Christmas ornaments hanging in the window facing the library. I was fascinated that the image draws the viewer in and plays with one's sense of inside out or outside in. In reality, the perspective matters not; its just an interesting, playful shot that reflects the unique place that is Provincetown.
