Who's Out There?
Category: Spontaneous Moments
Photo and caption by Ron Greenberg
As I walked by this tree I heard a soft growl coming from inside. I set my camera in a strategic position and started tossing snow into the hole to see what would emerge. Every time I threw some snow, the growl got louder until finally this irritated, yet curious, raccoon came out to see who was disturbing his afternoon nap. In spite of my antagonism, he was still nice enough to give me a nice pose.
