Chinstrap Penguin porpoising
Category: Spontaneous Moments
Photo and caption by Jean Collin
One sunny afternoon on a sailboat in the Antarctic peninsula, the surface of the sea was very calm and was reflecting the plain blue sky, I was trying to anticipate the trajectory of the porpoising penguins to catch that moment, when they leap out of the water to breathe. They are so fast, like bullets, it was amazing!
Location: Antarctic peninsula
