Traveling for weeks in South America, this has become one of my favorite photos. In Puerto Natales, Chile, many homes are painted in bright colors, probably because the weather is often pretty dreary! I love this shot of the dandelion breaking free of the wall, as if it had chosen the color of this wall as the perfect place to come into the world. I love the way the leaves are already drying, but the flower is reaching out, looking for more sun to survive another day!
